Beginning her career as a radio intern, she quickly developed an understanding of the cultural influence of hip hop and evolved into a respected influencer and tastemaker. Today, through Clever Curation Group, Nelson leads a media agency focused on project management, helping brands execute dynamic campaigns, innovative events, and meaningful collaborations that build strong relationships and elevate reputation. Her work reflects the entrepreneurial spirit and cultural leadership that continues to position Detroit’s Black women at the forefront of creativity, strategy, and community impact.
