In a significant move towards community revitalization, MET|PLUS, a dedicated 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, successfully launched its latest initiative aimed at fostering growth and well-being for all residents. This ambitious program employs a holistic, wraparound approach that combines innovative workforce development, community service and advocacy, and vital health and human services.
On Saturday, September 14, 2024, from 2 PM to 4 PM at Corewell Health Children’s, this event marked a pivotal moment for MET|PLUS as it sought to enhance the quality of life for individuals and families in the Royal Oak area. The initiative is designed to promote health, provide essential support, and ensure access to crucial resources for those in need.
“MET|PLUS is committed to empowering our community by addressing the interconnected challenges that individuals and families face,” said Chet Pitts, CEO of MET|PLUS. “Our comprehensive initiative is not just about providing services; it's about creating sustainable pathways for growth and well-being.”
Attendees had the opportunity to learn more about the organization’s programs and how they can get involved—whether through volunteering, advocacy, or donations. Contributions directly supported MET|PLUS’s mission to provide essential services that uplift the community.
As a general 501(c)(3) nonprofit, MET|PLUS operates with the vision of creating a thriving community through integrated services that cater to workforce development, community engagement, and health care. By focusing on these critical areas, MET|PLUS aims to foster sustainable growth and improve the overall quality of life for all residents.
