Detroit Recovery Health INC. Annual Substance Recovery Prayer Breakfast



In celebration of recovery month Detroit Recovery Health Project, Inc. held an inspiring Substance Recovery Prayer Breakfast on Wednesday, September 25th at The Eastern, commemorating Substance Abuse Recovery Awareness Month. The event brought together community leaders, advocates, and individuals dedicated to supporting recovery for 20 years.


Dr. Johnson, CEO of the Detroit Recovery Health Project, opened the event, emphasizing the importance of community and resilience in the journey of recovery. The breakfast, powered by Blue Cross Blue Shield, featured a dynamic panel discussion hosted by comedian Coco, alongside esteemed speakers such as Ariel Britt, formerly of the Office of National Drug Policy.


Participants engaged in meaningful conversations about the challenges and successes in the realm of substance recovery, fostering a sense of hope and solidarity. The event successfully highlighted the critical need for awareness, support, and ongoing advocacy in the fight against substance abuse.
