DETROIT, MI — Vice President Kamala Harris, along with her newly announced running mate and several prominent Michigan political figures, will hold a rally at Detroit Metropolitan Airport during her visit on Wednesday, Aug. 7.
The event, scheduled to start at 7 p.m., will take place outdoors at one of the airport’s hangars, according to campaign officials.
While the date of the Democrat’s 2024 presidential nominee’s visit was announced last week, detailed information has only recently been revealed.
In the latest updates from the Harris campaign, it has been confirmed that Gov. Gretchen Whitmer, co-chair of the vice president’s campaign, will speak before Harris takes the stage.
